CORE BELIEFS

The Bible. All scriptures are given by inspiration of God, and are profitable for doctrine, for reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness. That the man of God may be perfect, and thoroughly furnished unto all good work.

The New Birth. (Being born again) includes repentance, water baptism in Jesus' name, and the baptism of the Holy Ghost, evidenced by the speaking of other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance.

Spirit Baptism. (As recorded in Acts 2:4, 10:44-48, 19:1-16) is evidenced by the speaking of other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance.

Repentance for the remission of sins. The grounds upon which God will accept a sinner is repentance for the heart (Psalms 51:17). A broken and contrite heart thou will not despise. John preached that repentance and remission of sins, should be preached in Jesus' name, beginning at Jerusalem (Luke 24:47) Peter fulfilled this command on the day of Pentecost.

The Lord's Supper. Blessing the bread and wine and partaking thereof was continued by the church after the Day of Pentecost, (Genesis 14:18)

Feet Washing. Jesus gave us an example that we should do even as he had done. He said that we ought to wash one another's feet. (St. John 3:4-17)

Divine healing. The Lord is our healer, (Exodus 15:26, Psalms 30: 2,8) by his stripes we are healed. (Isaiah 53:4, Matthew 8:14-17, St. John 14:12, Mark 16:18, James 4:14

The Godhead. We fully believe in the mystery of the Godhead. We believe that Jesus was both human and divine. (Colossians 1:19; 2:9). There is God, Eternal, omniscient, omnipresent, omnipotent, and self-sufficient, who has manifested Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

Jesus. Jesus is God manifest in the flesh, God incarnated and is called the son of God in human relationship.

Man's Fall and Redemption. Man was created in the image of God but by the exercising of his own will, he transgressed the will of God and fall into the sin. Man's only hope of redemption is through Jesus Christ, the son of God.

Confession. The recognition and the acknowledgment of sins before God, which is brought about by Godly sorrow and repentance granted by God to the honest and sincere soul. (I. Corinthians 7-10)

The Name of Jesus. There is salvation in no other name (Acts 4:12) whereby we must be saved. The apostles always administered baptism in his name from the Day of Pentecost forward. It can be seen that there is a single name, Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. If the name is one, then the person is one.

Jesus is Father in His relationship to this creation. He is son in his redemptive role, He is Holy Ghost in His sanctifying and preserving the indwelt believer, but His name is one, Jesus.

St. Paul believed that baptism should be administered in the name of the one who was crucified for us. (I Corinthians 1-13) To be baptized means immersion; to be dipped or dyed.

Meditale upon those things: give thyself wholly to them. that thy profting may appear to all.

Take heed unto thyself, and into the dachine: continue in then: for in daing this thou shall both save thyself. and them that hear thee.

1 Tim. 4: 15.16
